Masport MPT42 Lawn Tractor
The Masport MPT42 Lawn Tractor takes the Masport name into the riding category: a 42-inch fabricated-deck tractor for residential properties of one to three acres, sold, set up and serviced by authorised Masport dealers.
A fully welded steel frame and a cast-iron front axle carry an 11-gauge fabricated steel deck that holds its shape on rough ground, and twin mulching blades recut clippings into a fine mulch instead of merely discharging them. Power comes from a 19 HP single-cylinder engine with full-pressure lubrication and a spin-on oil filter.
A twin-pedal hydrostatic transaxle gives smooth, shift-free control up to 5.5 mph forward, and an electric PTO engages the blades from the dash. The operator gets a 15-inch high-back seat, a soft-touch steering wheel, anti-vibration mounting, toolless spindle covers for quick deck service and on-board storage with cup holders.
